FOLLOW THE WHOLE DECISION

From first impression.
To a confident purchase.

01 / DISCOVER

Can shoppers find the right product?

We look at navigation, collection filters, search and empty results, with particular attention to the mobile journey.

02 / DECIDE

Is the buying decision clear?

We review imagery, variants, availability, price, delivery information and the position of the purchase action.

03 / COMPLETE

What interrupts checkout?

Basket totals, delivery surprises, form friction and supported payment routes are reviewed within your Shopify plan's limits.

04 / VALIDATE

Does the evidence support the priority?

For deeper packages, we assess available funnel data, tracking quality and behavioural evidence. Performance concerns become part of the priority list.

A REPORT YOU CAN ACT ON

See the issue.
Understand the next step.

Each finding connects the affected screen to a recommended change. We distinguish observed issues from ideas that need a controlled test, then order the work by likely impact, effort and confidence.

Your report can guide your own team or become the brief for an agreed implementation project.

ILLUSTRATIVE FINDING / NOT CLIENT RESULTS

Delivery information arrives too late.

Observation
The product page gives shoppers no delivery cost or timing beside the basket action.
Recommendation
Bring accurate delivery and returns information into the buying decision.
Test idea
Compare product-page progression and purchases, while monitoring returns and margin.
Priority
Review first. Validate the change using your store's evidence.

SEE WHAT CRO CHANGES

Less doubt.
A clearer next step.

Three simple design examples show the sort of improvements we investigate. Each is an illustrative concept, with a hypothesis to test against your own customer behaviour.

01 / PRODUCT CONFIDENCE

Answer the question.
Make the action obvious.

A shopper should understand the product, their options and the next step without hunting around the page.

  • Show useful product imagery and a clear benefit.
  • Use visible variant options and an unmistakable add-to-basket button.
  • Place genuine delivery and returns details near the decision.

What we measureProduct-page add-to-basket rate, then completed purchases and returns.

Illustrative product-page concept. Product, prices and policies are examples; use your store's accurate information.
02 / BASKET TRANSPARENCY

No last-minute
cost surprises.

Make the total easy to understand before shoppers commit to checkout. Unanswered cost and delivery questions can interrupt the purchase.

  • Show the delivery charge and an estimated arrival window.
  • Make the full payable amount prominent.
  • Keep one clear route to checkout.

What we measureBasket-to-checkout progression and completed orders, with margin as a guardrail.

Illustrative basket concept. Delivery estimates and totals should reflect the customer's destination and the store's actual tax rules.
03 / MOBILE MOMENTUM

Make buying feel
like less work.

On a small screen, unnecessary steps feel bigger. A straightforward route lets customers concentrate on completing their order.

  • Keep guest checkout easy to find where available.
  • Support autofill and remove avoidable duplicate entry.
  • Use clear progress and action labels.

What we measureMobile checkout completion, validation errors and payment failures.

Checkout changes depend on your Shopify plan and supported checkout extensions. We review what your store can actually implement.

WHAT AN UPLIFT MEANS

The same traffic.
More completed orders.

A move from 2% to 2.4% conversion is a 20% relative uplift, or 0.4 percentage points. At 10,000 monthly sessions, that means 40 extra orders.

Explore a scenario using your own numbers. The uplift is an assumption you choose, not an estimated result from our audit.

A PRACTICAL REVIEW PROCESS

From questions
to clear priorities.

01

Tell us about your store.

Share your URL, audience and the problems you want to solve. We agree the audit scope before getting started.

02

Review the journey.

We start with the public storefront. If useful, we request limited analytics access or existing recordings to understand customer behaviour.

03

Choose what happens next.

Receive your findings and priorities. Decide which improvements to implement and which ideas need testing first.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT STARTING POINT

Is an audit your next move?

If traffic is limited, begin with a usability review and the fundamentals of attracting the right visitors. A/B testing needs enough purchases and time to produce a useful result; we assess feasibility rather than promise a winner.

If tracking is unreliable, your store has a serious technical issue, or a redesign is already planned, we may recommend addressing that first. Share your context and we will help choose the appropriate scope.

Before you
get started.

What is Shopify CRO?

Conversion rate optimisation examines how shoppers move through your store and what makes purchasing harder. It combines user experience reviews, customer evidence and measurable experiments.

Does the audit include development?

Express and Full-funnel packages cover analysis and recommendations. Audit + implementation includes the changes agreed in your proposal. Ongoing CRO includes an agreed programme of optimisation and testing.

Will you need my Shopify password?

No. We begin with your public store. Any additional access is agreed through an appropriate limited access method; please never send passwords.

Can you guarantee an increase in sales?

No particular uplift is guaranteed. The audit identifies opportunities and testable ideas. Outcomes depend on your traffic, products, customer needs and implementation.

How is this different from the free report?

The free report is an initial overview of design, functionality and SEO. The paid CRO audit focuses on the buying journey with a more detailed findings and priority report.

FOCUSED SHOPIFY REVIEWS

Choose the question
you need to answer.

A CRO audit investigates buying friction. An SEO audit reviews search foundations and content opportunities. A speed audit investigates performance causes. These are separate scopes; choose the review that matches your current concern.
